Why do my counter needles get so hard to turn while I am knitting?

Hi Mary, I hope all is well. Thank you so much for your amazing tutorials. I don't think I would be were I am with my projects if it weren't for your teaching. I came across an alternative method for the kitchener stitch by accident. I didn't leave enough yarn for my closure, so I closed halfway with one yarn end going in one direction, then I flipped the project and took the other yarn end and went in the other direction with that tail. Where they met in the middle I simply tied the ends together. It seems to have worked and no holes to sort out. I would love for you to try it. Happy knitting. :)

Isn’t the row counter magnet supposed to count the stitches at the front and not the back?

This is such a mesmerizing video watching the color swirl. I think I’ve been convinced to buy a knitting machine now to decide on the Addi or Sentro. Def gonna make the scarf and hate only will sub orange for the yellow and send to my nephew who starts college in August! 🎉

I start getting these issues after about 40 or 50 rows. The knitting starts to rest on the table and the tube untwists. I get aloose row for some reason.

😊 Thank you!! 😅 This exact problem occurred to me a while ago, and fiddling around made it worse, so I ended up ripping the knitting off and restarting 😑 . It is people like yourself who make such a difference to the many!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I'm dealing with 2 problems... I just changed colors and I wound up having dropped stitches right before I get back to the starting needle. Can I pick up. Also, I'm not sure how many stitches need fixing. Hard to explain without a picture. Then there's a single yarn strand right after that didn't catch I guess. Is there any way of fixing that? I've gotten this far and I'd like to not have to rip it out. I need to learn to fix these kinds of things. I could send you a pic if that would help.

these are super helpful but i’ve been struggling with finding a tutorial on how to finish the stitches without closing the tube! every time i try it doesn’t have enough stretch to it and all i can find is only closing the tube videos :(

I’m new to the Addi circular knitting machine, and while we can learn by our mistakes, sometimes it’s difficult figuring out that fix. I’m going back to your Etsy store and buying some more patterns. How do you secure the yarn you use to join the two tubes if you used a piece of yarn that isn't quite long enough to reach the ends of the tubes? I've gone perhaps 90% of the way down the tubes, and they've joined together wonderfully, but I'm about to run out of yarn.

Thank you for this - I came here to look up doing invisible seams, and I love the way you've explained it. Is there a reason you started in the middle to join two tubes together? My blanket isn't gingham, but has randome colour changes along every tube. I was planning on starting to join the tubes at one end and going along to the other, but is it better to start in the middle? Or do you do that with the gingham blanket to make lining up the squares as easy as possible?

Hi, I used to use a sentroo but now I have an AddiI noticed there’s a huge difference in the hat size. How can two needles possibly make that much difference and how do I make the Addi knit loose enough without dropping stitch

Thank you! I’m brand new to circular knitting and have been experimenting with my new Addi. My flat panel experiments have been a disaster, particularly the darn first and last stitches per row. Your tutorial explains it very clearly. I’m also learning about the mechanics of the machine and how the stitches are actually made. Maybe you can help me. I've finished my beanie and am ready to cast off. Unfortunately, I seem to have 2 dropped stitches right near where I would start. I don't see the stitch but there are a few ladder stitches right on top. I'm afraid to try to fix them on the machine. Could I just cast off all of the stitches and try to fix it when it's off? Sorry for the long post😌Wanted to send a pic but there no place to do it in comments.
